AFESU Moinho hosts Gastronomy Week

A new edition of the Gastronomy Week has occurred with illustrating guest

AFESU Moinho, in May, did the Gastronomy Week, which held talks about the trends in different areas in gastronomy. The event had the purpose of presenting current and interesting topics in cooking, which will make the difference in their education.

This year, Cristina Souza, founder and CEO of Libbra Consultoria, a company specialist in foodservice, opened the Gastronomy Week. In her talk, she discussed the world’s and Brazilian’s trends. The event brought the head chef of Cór restaurant, Jeovane Godoi, that talked about Dry Aged, a process of meat maturation, and Patricia Sampaio, raw food chef, from Tree of Life Brazil, company that encourage healthy food, discussed about vegan food.

The Gastronomy Week bring up current topics that will affect profoundly the gastronomy market. This edition focused on world’s trends, sustainable gastronomy, vegan and organic food. Besides that, the participants made a technical visit on Cór restaurant, where the chef and his team greeted them.
